My Province

St.Lawrence Lowlands
Hey Peter,
Whats going on there at P.E.I. I’m asking because I haven’t heard from you yet. I thought ther must be something wrong. Well I am going to tell you a little bit about the region I live in named the St.Lawrence Lowlands. It is a very beautiful place if you get to see its natural places like Niagra Falls. Here there are many hills and plains. We have a river that’s called St.Lawrence River and its very long . We also have the Great Lakes here like Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, and Lake Huron . There is a lot of hot weather but there is much of the cold weather too. Some animals that live here are deer, moose, cayote, wolf, lynx, birds and also snowshoe hairs. Our Natural Resources are fertile soil, fruits and vegetables, water and our waterway system.

Dear Spencer,
It’s me again Jamie. Spencer have you ever been to an amazing place? Well I have. In the fall I got to go on an amazing vacation to Costa Rica(while every one else was in school). In Costa Rica my family and I stayed in a awesome hotel that had the biggest pool I’ve ever seen in my whole life! Also amazing food. The only problem was lots of people were speaking Spanish.(they all were pretty good at speaking English) Also there was bearly any kids. Those were the bad parts.

We got to go out of the hotel to go on excertions that have more then one activity. Like the one I went. It had a water slide that took at least 3 mins to get to the top. Also the water would only flow by a guy pulling a lever that let fresh water flow extremely fast to the bottom(this was all coming from fresh, natural waters from the ocean). There was also a canopy tour or zip trek. Which is when you get hooked to a rope that swings over the canopy(which is some trees). After those two things we went horse back riding to a natural mud bath and hot spring. When the vacation was over I was so sad I had to go. Well we can always go back next year. Hope to hear from you soon!

This is my second letter to you and I am going to be talking to you about my favourite place to be. Well first of all I would like to go to the Caribbean and I`ve been there before when I was in grade two on March Break. Oh and it was a blast! My three older sisters, brothers my whole family went for a week.
My family and I did tons and tons of fun stuff and if you would like to know why I love the Caribbean and the fun stuff we did your lucky because I will tell you everything we did at the Caribbean and the great stuff we did there . Well to start off we lived in a hotel . We were surrounded by the nice beach and the Atlantic Ocean. I was great .
We would always go to the beach or in the water . It had a bar and great drinks there . We would not have to pay for anything because we paid before the whole thing . there was a pool, bars great restaurants and great weather .
We met a kid we saw at the beach and we played with him and he was English so we were great friends along with my twin and big brothers . We went in the pool together,restaurants together played in the water together,we built sand castles together we did tons of stuff together . Oh ya he was a boy and his name was Brady . If you want I can tell you a story that happened to me and my family at a restaurant . Well we were eating at a restaurant and then all of a sudden the power went out like . It was pitch black I was just like ....................... wow . So then they just let us leave . The lights were flicking on and off on and off on and off . Then I saw a guy climbing a hotel. I wandered what he was doing . Then all of a sudden I heard a smash and scream The scream was from somewhere else and the smash was probably the guy trying to brake into his room because he was locked out . That is most of the stuff I can probably tell you about my favourite place to go . I hope some time you go to Punta Cana in the Caribbean .

Hey Celleste! How are you? Well I’m great! I just wanted to tell you about my favorite place to be. My favorite place to be would have to be, hum that’s a tough. Wait I know! My favorite place would have to be Cuba. When I went to Cuba I got my hair braided and it looked really good! Then my family got to go to a really good seafood restaurant and the server recommended to swim with the fish. So the next day I got to swim with the fish and the sea turtles! Hey Peter: What’s going on in P.E.I ? I haven't heard from you yet and I’m looking forward to hearing all about you. Where is your favourite place to go or where do you want to go? My favourite place to go right now is Argentina because they have lots of soccer teams. Argentina looks fun because sometimes playing soccer in Argentina is a blast. For example, when you start a game everyone joins and it gets even more interesting.

Did you know that one side of Argentina really warm and the other is cold. In my last visit to Argentina I went to see a soccer game of children the size of you and me and they played better than I could imagine. I would like to learn from them. Are you good? I like my province because of the red sand that we have nowhere else. . Also, because you can have a farm. There are lots of farms here that grow food like broccoli, carrots, potatoes,strawberries,corn,blueberries and other fruits and vegetables. P.E.I is well known for its potatoes. The potatoes grow well in the rich red soil. I also like P.E.I because of the nice beaches that you can swim in, in the summer and take walks on in the winter and fall. We have really good seafood here because we catch it here so it's fresh when we get it. P.E.I is a great place to live.

Hello! I love P.E.I. because it's famous for it's beautiful beaches, Anne Of Green Gables, it's vegetables, it's golf courses, and the biggest bridge in the world. It is also famous for Cow's ice cream. If you come to P.E.I. you can go fishing, golfing, swimming, shopping and camping. When you go camping you can have a campfire. On July first you can go to the Charlottetown bridge and watch the fireworks. They're so cool! You can stay at a hotel and eat at a restaurant too. You can go to a provincial park. I live on the greatest island .Let me tell you why. We grow a lot of potatoes and and we are famous for lobsters,red soil,blueberries, strawberries,corn and Cow's ice cream. P.E.I. is the safest island in Canada.We have a lot of vegetables and friendly neighbors and friendly farmers. What I like about P.E.I is we have Stock Car races, GREAT gift shops,and Brad Richirds lives in Marry Hourbor. The icecream is the best you'll ever eat. Every year Belfast school has a book fair with TOP brand Scholastic books. Plus the Canada Summer Games. Well thats my veiw of P.E.I but to really experience it come to P.E.I

HI! What I like most about living in P.E.I. is that there are four seasons and in those seasons you can do lots of things.In the summer I like going camping with my family. Do you go camping? Our favourite spot is the New Glasgow!! There is a great pool and it is always warm. There is also a gift shop that sells lots of candy. The campground is in the woods and there are no bugs.

In winter the temperature can get to 35C. . We get lots of snow. One time me and my dad made a igloo, but now we are not getting much snow, probably 5cm sometimes more.

Spring rocks in P.E.I. There are huge puddles that can be 40cm deep SPLASH!! It's great to explore. The sounds of the birds are magnificent. I really like seeing the new born animals that are born in the spring. My dad works on a farm, one night a cow was caving we were there till 9:30pm. The next morning we went back there
and the calf was so cute!!!

I love jumping in mud puddles

Summer here rocks, I mean the beaches here have water that is usually warm. There campgrounds are awesome and some have no bugs, wow. If you come here you have to go and see Anne Of Green Gables and Avonlea. If you like to fish come here there are lots of docks and little ponds. The temperature can get to 25C to 30C. You can play golf, there are so manyAmusement Parks like Sand Spit and Shining waters and trails to walk and bike on.

Hi Class,

This is Jacob here in Florida. So far we've had a great trip. We went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday and went on Space Mountain. Space Mountain is a ride that has lots of lights and is very very fast. It has some big drops.

We also went to the Animal Kingdom yesterday. We went on the Safari. There were elephants, lions, zebras, speckled birds, and gorillas. We also went on Expedition Everest. On the ride, we came up the track and we found that there was broken tracks. Then, we went backwards for about 500 metres. Then we saw a shadow of the Yedi ripping up the tracks! Then we went forward down a 75 foot drop and at the end we came up and saw the Yedi. It was awesome!

Hi Everyone I've been having a great time here in South Africa.Our plane trip was very tiring and I've been sleeping in till about nine every morning!Today we went to Warm bathes which is a place where there's a wave pool and water slides and a warm pool and a cold pool and lots of other stuff. We've been staying with our Aunt and Uncle this last week and will be flying down Monday morning to the Eastern Cape where we will be staying in a little cottage by the beach. A big hello to my beautiful cousin Delia! I am really looking forward to her visit to PEI in May. We plan to eat a lot of lobster, walk on the beach and bike on our Confederation Trail. When the trains stopped running on Prince Edward Island about 15 years ago, all the train tracks were removed and biking/walking/skiing trails were constructed in their place. It is now possible to travel from one end of our Island to the other by foot, bike or on skis using this beautiful trail.
